My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great for our visit to Vassar but the noise from the rooms next door was bothersome. The hotel felt a bit dated but the staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

I stayed at a hotel that had some pleasant aspects, like extra nice rooms, but also encountered some issues, such as noise disturbing my stay and an unforeseen charge on my card.

My room was pleasant and located at the very end of the hall, on the parking lot side. It felt like a lot of animals lived here in the past, but overall, the room was extra nice.

The hotel was in a nice setting near trees and a river. However, it was not terribly convenient, and the distance from downtown might be an inconvenience. Despite this, the area is well maintained with a great deck to enjoy the view.

On the upside, the rooms were equipped with a big refrigerator and a microwave, which was convenient. The location turned out to be good for the event I was attending, but it was a bit far from the main town area. The service was friendly and outgoing but had some hiccups with finding our reservation. Dining was decent, with more food than expected, though it lacked variation. Despite the shortcomings, the hotel did have the basic offerings you would expect.
